Through the Front Door.

Trafford Local Care Organisation [TLCO]. Cancer Awareness Project.

Through the Front Door is a collaborative effort involving doctors from four Trafford neighbourhoods, patient practice groups (PPGs), and Trafford Macmillan Wellbeing Centre volunteers.
A visual identity was created to help recruit volunteers and gather insight for multiple hyper-local resources. These include the Partington Mobile Breast Screening Unit marketing, which has helped substantially increase the uptake of Breast Cancer Screening invitations in two neighbourhoods.
Lung Cancer
Understanding how difficult it can be to have conversations about cancer is essential, as are other barriers, such as people thinking, ‘I’m wasting the doctor's time’ or ‘It’s too hard to get an appointment’.
The project's title draws attention to these issues and aims to get more people with suspected signs and symptoms ‘Through the Front Door’. This is an ongoing project. So, expect to see more soon.
Know 4 Sure
Strong evidence suggests increasing awareness of cancer signs and symptoms positively influences behaviour change. Here, team members wanted to localise the national Know 4 Sure' campaign.
